Technology (IM/IT) services and solutions to support the
Canadian Forces C-130 fleet.

C-130 Structural Condition Surveys & Structural Repair Design – Derco
Aerospace,
a leader in providing spares, services and aftermarket solutions to
aerospace customers in more than 65 countries, has contracted
META-FLEET to conduct structural condition surveys and provide
structural repair design support for C-130 military aircraft around the
world. META-FLEET’s rapid, professional and affordable structural
engineering services are resulting in on-time, cost-effective delivery
of customer aircraft. META-FLEET’s repair designs restore strength to
the airframe and comply with accepted airworthiness standards while
meeting static strength, fatigue and damage tolerance requirements.
META-FLEET’s knowledge of the C-130 structure and its known chronic
damage sites enables the company to rapidly and accurately assess the
structural condition of the C-130 airframe.

Turbo Firecat
–
Following a review of the common corrosion damage locations of the
Conair Turbo Firecat, META-FLEET developed an affordable
Corrosion Prevention and Control Program (CPCP) for The Conair Group,
Inc. During development of the CPCP, META-FLEET professionals
incorporated the latest advancements in corrosion preventive compounds
(CPCs) and organic coatings, as well as ensuring environmental, health
and safety compliance. In concert with these activities META-FLEET
substantiated numerous modifications to the wing structure, including
skin panel replacements, repair designs and material improvements.
These activities all supported a life-extension program for the aging
Turbo Firecat fleet.

Blue BAUX Product Development & Installation
–
META-FLEET’s
flagship product is its recently designed
Blue BAUX aircraft usage monitoring system, which captures
and monitors flight data and information for C-130 fleets worldwide.
META-FLEET has conducted EBH assessments relating to Lockheed C-130
Hercules Service Bulletin (SB) 82-788, and will be installing Blue BAUX™ solutions into C-130 military aircraft around the world.

TINA (Team INtegration Architecture)
–
META-FLEET's TINA is a technical data, configuration, workflow, parts
life and program management system. TINA helps fleet operators
manage huge volumes of interelated information by categorizing,
indexing, organizing and networking data such as reports, books,
service bulletins, Bills-Of-Material, configuration information,
airworthiness directives, operating and maintenance manuals, and
digital media. The program features core document and configuration
management functionality including version/revision control and
security while facilitating document networking in a virtual web,
enabling visual presentation of the complex relationships between
documents, tasks, parts and configuration items. Fleet managers and
operators can quickly and easily access fleet information anytime,
anywhere thereby improving both
efficiency and service quality.

MISO |
MISO (META-FLEET ISO Software) Development
– Recognizing the importance of following an international standard in
developing quality software applications for its customers, META-FLEET
developed MISO, a proprietary software application that follows major
ISO/IEC12207 benchmarks, policies and procedures. META-FLEET uses MISO
as an integral software development tool to ensure the highest
possible quality and integrity of each software application throughout
its entire life cycle. MISO is also a software development and
maintenance database application, enabling META-FLEET to maintain
software version control during development and catalogue findings and
resolutions during each development and testing phase. After newly
developed software is released to a customer, MISO provides a portal
for customers to submit requests and recommendations during the
development team review and implementation stages and throughout the
life of the software.
